Research

I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Computational Robotics Lab (CRL) in the Computer Science Department at Technion — Israel Institute of Technology , working with Prof. Oren Salzman .

My research focuses on Planning, Search & Optimization, with applications in AI, robotics, and combinatorial problems. I develop algorithms for generalized automated planning with dynamic action models, combining tools from AI planning, graph theory, and combinatorial optimization.

Current Research Areas

  • Search & AI Planning — generalized shortest-path problems, heuristic search, numeric planning
  • Motion Planning for Robotics — sampling-based planning, bidirectional search, lazy evaluation
  • Multi-Agent Systems — warehouse rearrangement, coordinated planning
  • Combinatorial Optimization — pattern databases, multi-objective optimization

Education

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science — Bar-Ilan University, supervised by Prof. Gal A. Kaminka (MAVERICK group)
  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering — Tel Aviv University, supervised by Prof. Michael Margaliot
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering — Tel Aviv University

Awards

  • Best Paper Award — International Symposium on Combinatorial Search (SoCS), 2025
